First I would like to thank you Google, for great program they have called AdSense, thru this program a lot of people like me and you, can make a lot of money, but its not completely free.
I'm talking about some web hosting server which we need to pay for, buying a new domain name for our website, and or some time we need to involve in all this matter.
Thank company like Google AdSense, we are getting ready for new epoke of working from home, because of recession, we all need to think of something else, a lot of us loose their jobs, there is already around 10% people without jobs, and there will be a lot more, and this is why we need to focus on different type of generating our income.

So, lets get to sense, there is a all bunch affiliate websites and programs we can use to get earning from our websites, however not all of them are OK, some of them are paying more, some of them are paying little, and some of them are paying less or nothing, even if they will have a new client from your site,..
Like I said before, AdSense, is the Best what we have now, if we talking about direct advertising method.

Direct advertising method is the simple one, you need to apply for Google AdSense account, after your site is accepted, you can implement their code / ads on your website and you bare ready to go.
Of course you need to have some traffic thru your site in order for you to generate profit from Google, if you love soccer, I think would be nice if you can wright everything you know about soccer, if you wright 2-3 page web site, there is a chance that you will not be picked up by Google search engine so quick, but think about larger size of your website, like 40-50 pages, and then you need to implement code given by Google to all of your pages.

If you will have your website ready, you will need to publish it on some server, best is the paid one, without any banners from your sponsors, ...
And now, its the nice time for you, after few days, Google, Yahoo, MSN, ASK, and other search engines, will pick up your Fraze's from your website, and if this is something what other will search for, your site will be displayed for searchers, ... then if it will be look interesting, lot of people will visit your website, and then there is a great possibility they will click on banners which you implement on your all pages before you published it... And this is the way you will earn money.

AdSense is working perfect with keywords from you website, practicaly ads from Google on your website, will directly match with your site content. So there is even bigger chance that if people are interested about soccer stuff, there will be ad corresponded to soccer.
Google AdSense is not like others, they pay very good, from around: $0.10 up to $3.00 per click!

Again, This question is number one lately, whenever you go, you can see a lot of websites telling you how to make money on the internet. There is a lot of people ou there, who made some kind of recipy for money making, however this is not for everyone, there is no ONE Straight way to get rich tomorrow.

There is a lot of websites which are free for us to use, this is perfect, because more and more of them offer direct links to companies with advertising programs.
So, if you look good on Google, you will find a lot of free sites where you can publish your own website or blog, and have it monetize at same time.

So, this is first what you gonna do:

1. Apply for account at Google AdSense or similar such: Azoogle / AdBrite / Kontera
2. Find and Register for website or blog space on the internet
3. Add sample code from your advertising company
4. You will have to advertise your website with some search engine

Then, you on the way to make money from your website or blog. Its not gonna happend tomorrow morning, this is not the way, but if you will spend some time on the internet, sooner or later you will have some traffic.

Important thinks is the kyewords, you will put on your site, if you don't have a kyewords, no one will find you, so there will be no one to click on your ad's.
Try to make posts every single day, would be great if you can write about some things people want to read about.

Hot topic is key to your success. I know that some people making money only because of this one post on blog, or their website. This will not make you rich, but at least will help somehow to get you going in future.
